Minimum Requirements
- 5-7 years of plant maintenance or engineering / project management experience
- Project management skills
- Organizational impact
- Fluency in spoken and written English / Arabic
- Proficient with computer usage - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Owns the infrastructure planning process for the operations
- Oversee all planning involved in asset upgrades and new expansions/installations
- Ensure all capital expenditures projects are being executed on time and within agreed scope and performance outcome criteria
- Provide project engineering subject matter expertise (SME) and support to manufacturing and warehousing locations
- Oversee the annual line overhauling event
- Resolve common chronic problems in the operations impacting reliability of equipment, productivity or cost
- Monitor and analyze key plant performance measures as it relates to spare parts usage and downtime (due to mechanical/electrical/support equipment)
- Sponsor the standardization, implementation, institution and sustainment of engineering processes, Business Process Transformation (BPT), standard operating procedures (SOP’s), visual / workplace ie. Preventive maintenance program, spare parts management, infrastructure planning process (IPP), project management…
- Deploy SME/specialists to build technical capabilities in the plant
- Ensure that all plant workshops are equipped to provide timely support to the operation
- Develop technical specialists on team by staffing, on boarding, training and retaining high caliber talent
- Assess yearly staffing requirements for the engineering team. Provides input on plant maintenance department staffing needs.
- Implement performance management process within function
- Maintain contacts with key suppliers and the support center to stay current on new development in the field
- Search and re-apply proven technology or new innovation to improve productivity and reduce operating cost
