National Commission for Human Development
The National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) was established by the Government of Pakistan as a Federal Statutory Body. It is an autonomous body set up to promote human development. NCHD is involved in enhancing the Human Development Indicators in Pakistan. It's mission to promote Human Development by supporting Government Line departments, Non-Governmental Organizations and elected officials at the district level in primary education and literacy. The goal of the Commission is to fill the implementation gaps and improve public sector delivery mechanisms to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
