Punjab Healthcare Commission, an independent regulatory body has been established under the Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) Act 2010 to ensure provision of quality health services within Punjab. Government of the Punjab in collaboration with Department for International Development's (DFID) Agency Technical Assistance Management Agency (TAMA) has completed the groundwork for setting up the Commission. The Commission was inaugurated on the 27th October 2011 with the appointment of Board of Commissioners. The Board has been actively en a ed to make the Commission fully functional.
