Defence Housing Authority, Karachi is establishing a state-of-the-art University of Higher Education in the disciplines of Engineering. Medical and Management Sciences at the University Main Campus in DHA Phase-VI! (Ext.). Commissioning in Fall 2012. DHA Suffa University will offer undergraduate engineering programmes in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Telecomm, Computer Engineering & Information Systems disciplines and BBA, MBA, EMBA programmes in Management Sciences in Phase-I. MBBS, BDS, MS and Ph.D degree programmes in the relevant disciplines will be offered in the subsequent phase.
Applications are invited for Vice Chancellor of DNA Suffa University; a dynamic individual who has the vision to revolutionise higher professional education by leading the University.
The candidates must have excellent leadership/management skills and experience in higher professional education. He/She should be able to demonstrate personal commitment to create an excellent academic environment for the faculty and students. He/She is expected to have a strong commitment towards development of a professional University.
• Qualifications & Experience: Ph.D in Engineering field; minimum 20 years of experience in teaching, research and academic administration including senior level experience as Dean and/or VC of renowned Institutions / Universities.
